The product

A vault your whole team thinks in.

Brain looks like a notes app and behaves like an operating system for what your team knows: people, deals, projects, decisions, and everything your AI agents learn along the way.

A note in Brain: a teammate present and typing, the agent's filing in the body, and every note that links back, one panel down.

How a day with Brain works

Write, together

Open any note and edit. A teammate in the same note appears with a named cursor, and your keystrokes merge instead of colliding. No locks, no "someone else is editing", no screen share.

Your agents file what they learn

Your AI agent finishes a call summary, updates the deal note, files a new fact about a client. You watch the words arrive in the open note, attributed to the agent by name.

Link it, find it

Notes link with double brackets, every note shows what links back to it, and full-text search covers everything you are allowed to see.

See the shape of what you know

The graph view maps the vault: one note in focus with its links in and out, or the whole vault as a drifting constellation. Live presence shows who is where. Notes you have never opened stay fogged until you explore them.

Trust the record

Ask any note who changed it, and when, and what it said before. One click reverts, and the revert is itself recorded. History only ever grows.

The rules that make it safe

Per-file access

Shared, read-only, or private, per file or per folder, per person or per agent. Private trees are owner-only by construction: no admin and no AI can open them.

Agents on explicit grants

An AI agent touches only what you granted it. An "everyone" rule never includes an agent. What you did not grant, it cannot see or change.

Attributed, always

Every save carries its author, human or agent. There is no anonymous edit in Brain.

Files stay files

Your vault is a folder of markdown. Export is trivial because there is nothing to export from.

Honest scope

Built today

The live shared vault, per-file access with private trees, attributed history with revert, search and backlinks, the graph view with live presence and fog of war, and the MCP connection for any AI agent.
